Shoutitout passes Sweetter in updates posted

Shoutitout just passed Sweetter the popular Spanish version of Twitter in updates posted. They passed Microblogr a few months ago and there next target will be Jaiku. They have taken the lead for a few hours now and it looks like they have it controlled. Shoutitout is growing slowly in members but in posts its one of the most fast growing sites I've seen.

Shoutitout the site created in 2009 has just official passed the 07 start up Microblogr in posts. Shoutitout has 156,732 Shouts were Microblogr has 147,831 updates. Shoutitout passed Microblogr in average monthly views several months ago then quickly flew past a site called Sweetter which launched in 08. Sweetter still has more posts than Shoutitout with 212,365 but Shoutitout is set to pass Sweetter in posts sometime in November (2010).

Sweetter is a microblog is its 3rd version it is good to tell what you want to do but is often attacked by spammers and is used by multiple languages but aside from those down sides its a great microblog.

Twitter is the biggest microblog but it goes down allot and you cant post things like videos and photos without using 3rd party apps. It is a good site to post what your doing but thats about all you can post.

FriendFeed is a great service with no txt limit and a stream update it is create to have conversations on or post what your doing. You can also post photos or just files from your hard drive.

Shoutitout is a startup that has had allot of success it allows you to post pictures locations links and videos. You can also fave and subscribe to other users it goes down occasionally but aside from that its a great service.

Plurk allows you to pick a start from a list or use freestyle you can also post photos links music and videos. You get a thing called Karma which un-locks you more smilies Plurk is a great service.

Warning: Sweetter get eaten by Spammers

Sweetter a start up microblogging service has been attack by advertising spammers. When we went on the site the home page of the public time line had one normal post the rest, post advertising links to insurance sites or Flickr photos. We didn't check these links because we don't know just how safe they are. However, if your going on Sweetter watch yourself you might get some viruses.

Sweetter 3.0 now live!

Sweetter the start up microblogging service (well not really) has launched version 3.0 it is not much different just a change around in the page design. However, the users love it they are all praising it on the site. Did Sweetter just start the microblogging roll out war?
