Shoutitout continues to roll out API partnerships, adds Hellotxt

Shoutitout has announced yet another 3rd party site that works for Shoutitout, Hellotxt. Hellotxt allows you to post to sits threw status update and attach certain things like videos, and an interesting feature, songs. Shoutitout's api has gotten allot more popular since they hired Noah Tomas, there new API director. This adds to the list of Seesmic, Pingfm, Twitterfeed, Tweeite (Twitter for iPhone), Gtalk and now Hellotxt. We aren't sure if they will add Hootsuit which they have been talking about adding (according to reports). We aren't sure if they will or not but if they do they also need to add Tweetdeck I think. Shoutitout could be becoming the new thing.

Shoutitout reveals API data Ping.fm dominates iPhone growing quickly

Shoutitout allowed Ping.fm and Seemic to connect in its early days but they were not ever used for a few months. Seemic kicked it off with a few posts in October then Ping.fm launched up the next month. Gtalk, Twitterfeed, and iPhone are newer API posting options. Gtalk started a being used in February which is when it launched and has grown every month but slowly, not including this month so far. Seemic has been up and down threw out it access it grew some dropped grew allot then fell again and is back to were it started now battling to keep them selfs from the bottom which they currently are. iPhone was never used till recently and is growing every month including this month already it is the second highest so far this month behind of course Ping.fm. Twitterfeed is a new feature for Shoutitout and is connected to allot of users but it doesn't get allot of forward posts it grew slowly passed iPhone in its first months then tied with Ping.fm, Seemic, and Gtalk then the month after it launched to a good started it feel slightly and Ping.fm's bad month was gone as it flew up to its biggest month ever it was also passed my iPhone and Seemic and Gtalk made there lead over it bigger so far this month it is battling to stay out of last with a slim lead of Seemic. Ping.fm started with a quick bang and moved up then had a bad month and still held the top but barley after that though went soaring up and is in a good lead this month so far as well.

Continuing to fire

As some of you know the last few weeks in the microblog world have been very competitive. Well Shoutitout got involved in the war today. They released an iPad app about and hour ago and now they've announced that they have partnered up with Twitterfeed to allow blog feeds to post to Shoutitout. We aren't sure what the agreements are but we know that Twitterfeed has special accesses to Shoutitouts API.
