(Rumor) Its about to be a 4 way war!
As you all know over the last few weeks aside from maybe link shortening Check-in has been the most competitive topic. First Foursquare came out, Then Gowalla, afterwards Yelp came out with it on there iPhone app. Well, now Shoutitout has decided that they want in on the wars (as usual) Therefore, if our source is right, Shoutitout will reales Check-ins with their up coming V.2.0! So I guess the question is How will this effect Yelp, Foursquare, and Gowalla? Well, our guess is Foursquare will not be happy about it and it will take a few users from them as for Yelp we doubt they will care much since they just released there iPhone app to compete with Foursquare they will probably welcome the extra attack on Foursquare, as for the start up Gowalla we think they will have to come back with something our it may put them out of business.
