Brighkite is having the same issues they had the other day as we mentioned before there site and app are loading extremely slowly, however, Shoutitout is now aboard there ban wagon having similar issues with loading but there pages are loading, just as 500 errors (pretty much Shoutitout's version of the fail whale). Brightkite says it is working on the issue Shoutitout says they are investigating what is causing the issue and have narrowed it down to a few possible causes according to there status blogs. Shoutitout's app is running fine at the moment Brightkite's as they said is running but takes about 6 times longer to load than it would at usual pace. Shoutitout says there site should be back to 100% is about an hour Brightkite hasn't given a time frame yet.
