We have heard a rumor that one of the features Shoutitout is testing during there midnight maintenance on Friday is confirmed accounts. How they will do this we aren't sure, Twitter already has this feature for companies and celebrities. This means Shoutitout is bigger than we thought. We know they have over 200,000 updates (somewhere between 200,000 and 225,000) but we aren't sure were they are member wise aside from 100+. Twitter confirms there accounts pretty much threw "we know who these people are so we are confirming them." We aren't sure how Shoutitout will confirm accounts but we do know they have to say we want to confirm your account before you can get it confirmed so you can't ask, yet. We are guessing they will start this feature like Twitter did, a few accounts at first then more and more will be confirmed. We know that @admin and @willy will be confirmed and @willyacefanpage will most likely be confirmed as well but we aren't sure of any others at this time. We have also heard the people that will be confirmed when they roll out this feature (which is supposedly coming out as soon as maintenance is over if it works) have already been informed and confirmed.
